Our history
Founded in 2003 as a water treatment reliability and maintenance specialist over the last 20 years, MAK Water has developed into one of Australia’s leading water and wastewater treatment companies. MAK Water has a wide selection of available technologies and the ability to customise water, industrial wastewater and sewage treatment solutions to meet individual client requirements.
In 2013, MAK Water purchased industrial water equipment manufacturer, Clearmake™, adding oil water separation, clarification and water recycling to its portfolio of in-house plant designs for desalination and wastewater treatment.
As a combined entity, the business has been successfully operating for more than 30 years, employs over 130 people across Australia and has installed in excess of 5,000 systems throughout Australasia and South East Asia.

Headquartered in the north-east Perth suburb of Malaga, with local offices around Australia, MAK Water is proud to be the leading Australian owned and operated manufacturer and service provider for water treatment infrastructure.
Our expansive factory and head office in Perth, WA allows us to engineer and construct complete containerised and skid-mounted water and wastewater treatment plants as well as significant sub-assemblies for plants requiring construction at client’s sites in purpose build sheds. All MAK Water plants go through a comprehensive Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) prior to despatch to our customers to ensure smooth installation and project comissioning of your investment in water infrastructure.
